What are you focused on this year

Wow, can you believe it’s 2015? There are exciting things to reflect on. For example, New Beginnings. Starting with a freshness is inspiring. The question becomes, What are you focused on this year? There are many who will ignore this question and others that ponder. Whether you ignore or ponder this question, it is a beginning. 2014 has passed away, and there is not much we can do about what was left undone.

Quote

The really unhappy person is the one who leaves undone what they can do, and starts doing what they don’t understand; no wonder they come to grief.-John Wolfgang Von Goethe

Each of us have unique gifts and talents. 2015 is a time to focus on your gifts and inspire others. Why start a new year with grief? Grieving what is left undone brings no good thing. Do what you understand and perfect it, that which you do not understand seek understanding. Imagine good things, and focus on them. Set goals and drive towards them.

Have you ever had people whisper terrible things in your ear? Negative talk clouds one’s focus. It can prevent us from moving towards our goal. What will you listen to this year? I choose to see the good around me and strive to organize these goals. I will not commit to failure or allow myself to be exposed to words like it can not be done. I believe we can do anything we set our minds on.

2015 will be great, it all depends on you. Plan for the unexpected and embrace something good this year.

  1. This is a very good blog post because whatever happened in the past definitely can not be changed. All we can do is experiment with new things, test new ideas have fun and move forward in life. Why bother with something like the past that can not be changed? Makes no sense.

Lets make 2015 our best year!

  2. Definitely a great quote. I love that one! I love to be positive and what better time to get on track and stay on track than the beginning of the year.

We cannot undue the past but we surely can impact our future. I love affirmations and positive affirmations always gets me in a positive mood and keeps me focused on positive things. Thanks for sharing.
